Brunch...

From the maidens kitchen...

Why not whip this yummy
recipe up this eve & tomorrow morning
when you pop it in the oven...enjoy more family time!


::OVEN FRENCH TOAST::

You will need:
Corn syrup
Butter
Brown Sugar
1 loaf of wheat bread {any kind will work}
Eggs
Milk
Vanilla
Salt
9x13 pan
Crisco
.......................................
Directions:
2 Tbs. corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
Combine this in a saucepan. Simmer until syrup like.
Pour into the bottom of your well greased 9x13 pan.

1 loaf bread
Now place your  bread slices in the bottom of your syrup pan...
layer as needed!

Beat together and pour over the bread & syrup
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
...................................................................
Cover. Refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45min!

when we have company or when we want something quick, delicious and filling to eat!
