Matthew's Jiffy Shortcakes
4 Cups Jiffy Baking mix
4 Tbsp Sugar
7 Tbsp shortening, melted1 Cup Milk
(we used 1/2c cream for ours)
Combine ingredients to make soft dough.

Preheat oven to 450*
Knead lightly, on dusted surface~
roll out onto lightly dusted surface~
(with baking mix)
till 1/2" thick & cut into 3" round shapes.
In a hurry we have just...
Scooped onto a greased baking sheet.
bake 8-10 mins till lightly browned.
Split warm & serve with fruit & whipped topping!
We also enjoyed the left overs for a breakfast treat!
So, double the recipe~
